"Film stills, location shots, photographs and portraits of actresses--archival and contemporary--the 250 illustrations in the book take us deep into the most glamorous intersection between the worlds of film and fashion."

Most Helpful Customer Reviews

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful By Lilly Ford on September 4, 2012
Format: Hardcover
This is a beautifully executed coffee table book.
As the title implies this book focuses on past and present stars wearing Dior garments whether in movies, on stage, or on the red carpet.
The book is large and well bound, there is very brief text where the photos are the main core of the book.
The photos are large and they are a mixture between archival and contemporary shots, it is also nice to see some classical shots with many garments that I'm unfamiliar with although I own many Dior books. Also the inclusion of some archival advertisements for classical movies and theatrical plays where Dior garments were featured is a nice bonus.
All in all the book is an attractive addition to any fashion collection.
