Angies voice, his harmonies and his musicianship is brought to a pinnacle on this album. From the first dylanesque chords of Hard Woman to the clear and crisp harmonies of "Shine On" and "Love" capped with the beautiful "Someday" this album is a must for any CD collection.

The instant you hear the voice of this amazing singer/songwriter you will be instantly addicted. It is difficult to understand the enormity of Angie's affect without hearing him live, but I feel "For Stars and Moon" gets you pretty close. Lyrically this album will challenge everyone to consider themselves. Musically it creates a visceral reaction that cannot be compared. Pay attention to "Broken", "Shine on", and "Child you're the Revolution." These songs could change you.

I got the American and have never stopped listening. I thought it was the production that kept bringing me back (I'm an engineer/producer) but after getting Praise be and For stars and moon I realize there's just something special about Angie's music no matter if it's produced by Angie or Matt. I can't get enough of this guy. I'm dying for new Angie!
Desert Island material for me.

I bought this CD based on my love for The American & The One With The Sun. I'm not disappointed. Quite melodic, jazzy/bluesy ... I loved Shine On and Child You're the Revolution (reminds me of Pink Floyd's The Wall with the children's chorus). There is also a great bonus track that is not listed on the case. If you can find this CD (I think I just bought the last one)... BUY IT!
