I loved all the songs on this CD. It makes you feel very patriotic. It would be great to listen to anytime, but expecially on patriotic holidays. My favorite song on this CD is the Star Spangled Banner because Sandi Patti sings it and it is a little different than the traditional version. There are more words added to the original version of the Star Spangled Banner that really make you feel good about living in this country. I highly recommend this CD.

I, like millions of others, felt a surge of renewed patriotism after the attack of 9/11. But the truth is, I should have bought this CD years ago. The songs are wonderful, timeless and not just for the sappily patriotic among us. I thought that listening to these songs would make me cry like a baby, and I was partially right - Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" does it to me every time. But the other songs just filled me with American pride and made me want to shout from the rooftops. Most of the songs were familiar to me from my childhood, but the one that wasn't - "American Patrol" by Glenn Miller - turned out to be my favorite. Ever been to the American Adventure pavillion at Disney's Epcot Center? This CD made me feel like I was there. This may be the best item I've ever purchased from Amazon. God Bless America!!!!

Like many people, I first heard Sandi Patti sing the Star Spangled Banner on the ABC Statue of Liberty special in 1986. Having it on video wasn't enough, I searched for years to find a recording. Plus Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA, and Kate Smith singing God Bless America. Glenn Miller is a bonus. How can you not want this?

I bought this for The Star Spangled Banner by Sandi Patty and was not let down. The other songs compliment the entire cd to be used at your next Independance Day Celebaration or whenever you are in the Patriotic mood!

I played this loud on the 4th of July at our lake home where wqe had about 20 guests. Every one had a great time and enjoyed it. It is also a fun cd to put on when you have work to do, like cleaning house, it keeps you moving.

The senior citizens loved it, and kids love it, the only ones who were "too cool" for this were the teenagers and young 20 somethings. I suspect that they actuall enjoyed it too, but can't admit it in front of thier peer group.

I was disappointed only because I thought the CD included Ray Charles's America the Beautiful - my mistake. In searching all the patriotic albums, I must have gotten confused. Does anyone know where I can find it? The rest of the CD is a real flag waver.

With regard to what our country has been through in the past month, this compilation of touching, moving and patriotic songs is just what the doctor ordered. BRAVO!! This CD should be a part of every American's collection!

Sandi Patti will bring tears to your eyes. The events that happened on Sept. 11,2001 were tragic but when you listen to this cd you are proud to be an "AMERICAN" !!!

No one has ever sung the Star Spangled Banner like Sandi Patty. Everyone else should stop singing it unless they use the same full musical arrangement and have a voice as supreme as Ms. Patty's.

We first heard this incredible version of this wonderful song at the Northridge, CA Shepard of the Hills fireworks demonstration and, since then, nothing else comes close.

Cheers for Ms. Patty and may she and the flag wave forever.

I bought this album on September 12th. Wanted to get that sense of patriotism in my head! I encourage anyone to purchase and listen to this album. All the best songs are on it - with the exception of Whitney Houston's rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. One other piece of advice - teach the words of patriotic songs to your kids! My mom taught me! Thanks Mom!
