Gitane did it again! She pushed out an album of extremely well written songs, all of which refer to her life, and to the losses she recently had to endure. Among the best tracks are the stunning "Shangri-la-la-Land", written for the late Rozz Williams (R.I.P.), the sad true story of the end of a relationship, "Valentine", and the furious and breathtaking "I Lost a Friend on Heroin". I highly recommend anybody who isn't already a DeMone-fan to listen; you'll become one soon. No easy stuff, but worth the try... The Dreadful Shadows only appear on four tracks as guests, so the word "Dreadful" doesn't belong to the title...

This is alternative music at its best. I don't care if you're a pop diva or an old an goth - there's something here for anyone who likes good music.

If you aren't already familiar with Gitane's work, There is no better time than the present! I have been a HUGE fan of her's since the mid-eighties, and she never ceases to amaze me with her heartfelt lyrics and angelic voice. "Stars of Trash" proves once again how spectacular Gitane actually is. A beautiful album from start to finish that pulls you in with its mix of love, lust, anger, loss, and hope, YES HOPE! Enough of my ranting, now buy the album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
