Great beer and pretzels science fiction!,

Great beer and pretzels science fiction....My personal highest rating. The author's depiction of life on a future US Navy sub and his knowledge of the capabilities of foriegn naval powers helped make this novel a real page turner. I suspect Mr. Stine writes from some personal experience with the navy. If not then he really did his homework on this one. I found the decriptions of future naval equipment very interesting. He appears to extrapolate well from current naval technolgy...I read through it in one night. Couldn't put it down. One word of warning....Don't start it too late or you will be late for work the next day. Well done and I'm looking forward to further installments from Mr. Stine.matt
