I have to say I was a little cautious of buying this game, since the movie seemed to have some key problems with it. Although the $10 price tag including shipping and handling was defiantly what made me turn a blind eye towards the movie. I must say killing all those enemies with a variety of weapons that were not in the movie made me forget how bad other similar FPS are like halo where they actually try to make a plot and fail. This game is very fun and difficult. It has a very nice difficulty curve which you may find out at the very end were you find out you die A LOT from enemies like the Royal Warriors, the X-bug, and it's armies. All the other missions were fantastic and I must say I couldn't have gotten a better game for the price tag. I must say it was 100% worth it.

The game is greatly inspired of the movies. The graphics of the game are nice in the overall except for the other soldiers. It lacks quality their.
The game is really immersive and I have a lot of fun playing with it and even the hard core gamers will have some tough times in the game if the select the hard mode. In other, words if your're a fan of the movies you've got to buy this game cause it is freakinly awesome. If you're not a fan you will still have a great time but it might get repetitive after a while.

The game has a great swarm engine and some awesome new bugs and well as the classic weapons and new ones. Based on the 1997 movie franchise the game was originally released in the UK and made its way over to the use. Just as in the movies you will be fighting hordes of bug warriors, tankers and now tigers bugs (which i think are the same bugs in the upcoming Starship Troopers 3 Movie). You will play the part of a Federation Marauder, or Special Forces. It is your job to lead the Mobile Infantry into battle and spearhead the campaign on the mining colony of Hesperus. For any Sci-Fi or SST fan its a must play.

If your a ST fan, get it. If not Pass. Alot of bugs. you get tired of just shooting a the same bugs, then you don't care if your whole team gets bugged or not. Down load the Demo 1st so see if you like it. requires a monster graphics gaming PC.

Make sure you have the right video card to run this game! Had to upgrade video card which set me out an additional $300.00. But game itself has great graphics and if you love shooting games, this one is highly recommended!

No it doesn't need a massive system to play by any means. Game is fun at first, lots of bugs to shoot and a feeling of the movie leeks in here and there. But after a while that is all you do. Just shoot then shoot more, then more. I loved it at first playing the single campain but soon got bored and never finished it. MP was even worse. Worth $5, but not much more.

I am an avid Starship troopers fan and i know a pretty decent game when i see one. in this game you are marauder #6, one of the most elite unit's in the mobil infantry 5 years after Klendathu. When hesperus (a planet close to Earth)falls to the aracnids, you are called in to battle.
You must fight through 12 missions(some mimicking the battles from both movies). okay I would like to tell you how it ends but i haven't finished the game yet.But overall this is a fun game.

P.S.: some bugs are tougher to kill than others, so be prepared for a really tough fight because this game is HARD.not to be discouriging.
