The music on this sound track is pretty good, i didnt think it would be very good then i watched the movie and i kinda like some of the songs, like "somthing about the sunshine" and "make a movie". Great sound track cant wait for the movie to come out on dvd.

I recently had the pleasure of catching "Starstruck" on the Disney Channel. I'm not a teenager but do enjoy many of their movies. Princess Protection Program, anything with Selena Gomez.

I think that Sterling Knight is very talented and quite undervalued. I've enjoyed him on "Sonny with a Chance". He has great presence and a wonderful singing voice, which is finally getting showcased in this movie and on this soundtrack. Personally, I think he has way more talent than any of the Jonas Brothers.

Disney, I hope you realize what a talent you have in Sterling. I would love to see more original movies starring him. Also, please show more of "Sonny with a Chance"! It isn't on nearly enough. :)

I'm not a huge fan of Disney actors making albums. It often seems like they use their network fame to sell unoriginal and often stupid songs. That being said, I was surprised that there is actually some real talent on this CD and some rather inspired songs. Others on it are just plain fun, while a few in my opinion just didn't deserve to be recorded at all. Three songs on here that have true quality and some real meat to them are "Hero," "Got To Believe," and "What You Mean To Me," sung by a surprisingly good Sterling Knight. And "Something About the Sunshine" is pretty catchy. I would probably suggest this for any fans of other Disney stars (Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers, etc.) but also for those of you who like to catch some fun pop tunes. I would give it 3 & 1/2 stars because, despite some redeeming tracks, most of this CD is nothing special.
