When I first heard this, I thought that that's what Alfie should have done! Started over! I fell in love with Alfie from his Innocence Ballet album, and at first was disappointed with this collection. His beautiful romantic,seductive,blend and captivating voice,from "Ballet" were not featured in these tracks. I thought it to be a rather "Dark" side that came off as depressing. After listening to it a few more times, I'm hooked again!!! I have to applaud him for giving us a different look at his vocal talent. A very talented singer, and if you give this one a chance, I'm sure you'll appreciate the different side this is offering. Very dramatic, almost theatrical, but very pleasing. Sorry I expected something different in the beginning, and didn't give it a fair chance. I sill adore Alfie!

Start Again is a wonderful production. Alfie's voice is silky and sexy. I can't get enough of this CD. Bravo Alfie !

This is an album that virtually all music lovers can appreciate. You can't help but be AMAZED at Alfie's vocal talent and passion. The only thing better than this album is to actually see him live!

Well Alfie Zappacosta has cerrtainly arrived. This recording is wonderful! I am so impressed with the song writing and the production. Sonically his voice sits so nicely in the mix and the string instruments are lovely, a smile comes to my heart each time I play this collection of songs.
I adore the obvious theatrical influences here, as well, the vocal abilites of this artist have have matured as a result. This collection of songs represents his finest work to date. I like the fact that that over the years as I have purchased Alfie's music I am always amazed that he is not afraid to take chances and experiment with new musical avenues a refreshing breeze in this cookie cutter industry. If you like to listen to great singers and a tasty band this recording is for you. The collection is diversified, soulful and totally moving. A provocative lyrisist and songcrafter Alfie delivers music that represents pieces of himself and moments in his life that are so human and that we all can relate to.
Kudos to Alfie Zappacosta for creating this tasteful work !!!

If you enjoy beautiful music & lyrics then this is the best. The style is adult contemporary & his voice is remarkable. He is the most powerfull & moving artist that I have ever heard.

I am a long time fan of Alfie, he is an amazing talent, but on this album he is overly concerned with his performance. The intimacy and richness is gone. Replaced with theatrics. Alfie used to sound innocent and sincere, now he simply sounds pompous.
