The software is easy to run and follow. BUT....it is a scam, although honest in its own way. It directs you to other business sites where you have to spend MORE money. For example, Logoworks. You can go there and design all you want for your own business logo. But once you like it, and want it, you have to pay $49. Ditto for business cards, bookkeeping software, etc. Fortunately Palo Alto Software has a 60 day money back guarantee. I'm returning it and getting my money back. Fast.

Start Run Grow is a fully comprehensive small business product. Its easy to lose track of the details when running a small business but Start Run Grow helps to keep track of the little things. The calculators (Break-Even, ROI, etc.) are extremely useful as it provides easy-to-use, quick analysis of how effectively the business is running. The program also offers plenty of information about business decisions, when to incorporate, how to trademark your company name or logo, etc. These are useful especially if you have a good business idea but don't know how to take advantage of it. The discounts on other products helpful for running a successful business, like Business Plan Pro, Marketing Plan Pro, and many others, make this product extremely useful. I highly recommend!

I absolutely hated this product. I spent $50 on the thing and all it does is refer you to other places that charge more money. Don't waste your money or time.

You can never recover the precious time in your life wasted on installing this garbage and attempting to use what it purports to offer. The only thing it really offers are articles and discounts on software. The features that would actually benefit any type of small business, such as: time tracking, invoicing, billing, etc. are not included. In fact, it instructs you to insert a separate cd-rom (which is not included) to continue. Look, I understand that you get what you pay for (which is why the software is so cheap), but at least inform the consumer that the software is simply a pitch for multiple other companies products. Essentially, you are paying for a coupon book to assist you in your future purchases of products and services you might actually use/need. The people at Palo Alto were tremendously disingenuous when they drafted the software's list of features.

Bottom line, it does not do what it intimates it "may" do, and you're better off just spending more money for software that you would end up having to buy after thumbing through these worthless tips anyhow.

Finally, the only reason I am writing this review is to save someone from wasting their time driving to a store (or purchasing online) and installing this "software" only to have to uninstall it after the disappointment you will suffer when realizing you paid for an electronic coupon book for business software.

The advertisement should be more precise. It's a scam! It lures the buyer into believing that there is a viable program -somewhere. There is not! All it is is advertising for various other programs that cost additional money!

Amazon would do well to distance itself from scams like this!

The guides are helpful. Some tools are useful for all businesses. I would just like to see the free included info separate from the paid solutions.
