I really liked this book. It had a lot of useful information on how to set your business up to take it from hobbyist level to full-time home-based business. The author leads you step by step to help you get started and keep your business profitable. She also gives you many ideas on how to market your jewelry, what it takes to get noticed by magazines and how to weather economic downtimes. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about taking this next step in the jewelry making business.

This book is truly the next best thing to having your own private business consultant. Maire is so thorough, it seems there is no aspect she does not cover. If you are a business newbie it will help you without speaking "over your head". If you have some basic knowledge and experience, you will still learn valuable information and tips to improve your business skills. If you are trying to decide between several books, I can say without hesitation: GET THIS ONE.

This book has been very useful in my endeavors to sell my jewelry. I learned some priceless tips that will surely make me more successful. Really everything you need to know is here. My only issue is that each subject is briefly discussed and I had to do my own further research to get more in depth info. I sometimes feel a subject was rushed to just get into the book. However, this book has still been very useful! One more thing.......this book must be a tad outdated as there is no mention of the most successful means of selling jewelry.....Etsy.com.

This is a great book. It's very informative and tells you in an easy to follow way the steps you need to take to get your business on the ground. I recommend it to anyone thinking of starting a jewelry business.

I enjoyed the book and it had a lot of information in it. But what I wanted to see is step by step instructions in how to make or write a business plan for a jewelry business. I would have liked to have some type of formula in pricing my jewelry. Just and idea on how to figure your price for certain items like precious gemstones jewelry and so on. Thank you for such a wonderful book.

When I really decide to commit to starting my business, this is a step by step guide on how to do it. It has many tips and suggestions in it, even if you are still going to do this on a part time basis.

I didn't get much out of this book at all. It just seems to go over business basics. I thought it would be more about jewelry making and pricing. I guess I should have read a little more about it.
