Trivia With A Twist - Fun, Fun, Fun,

This is a fantastic board game which is a load of fun. What you do is attempt to move through each year of the 80s (1981, 1982, 1983 etc)... although the year is really rather arbitrary. You answer questions and when you land on the "exit the year" space, you are asked a question and must determine whether or not it happened in the year of the space you are on. For example: You might be sitting on 1982 and the question will be "Top Gun was Released in this Year".The questions are fair, fun, and of a pleasant mix. My wife and I enjoy playing this game even alone.... so it is fun for 2 or more. From a person with a collection of 200+ games, I give this game a "Highly Recommend".

If you were a teenager in the 80's, you will LOVE this game. We had a group of 4 couples get together to play the game. What I most enjoyed about this game is that the trivia questions were fun and challenging, but not impossible. The questions also sparked such great conversation, as it was definitely a trip down memory lane. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed the music, movies, tv, sports and events of the 80's!

I am definitely a child of the 80's but found this game a bit difficult. We did better when we played it as a team, because the sports questions were way too hard for everyone except the one sports fanatic of the group. It took a very long time to play unless you land on the jump space just right. We ended up changing the rules and it was much more enjoyable, but the questions are quite challenging even if you grew up during the 80's.

This game is great! It sure brings back a bunch of memories! I purchased this game for a friend of mine, and we played it for hours. The game may only last 1/2 hour or so, depending on how much you remember of the 80's, but the fun will last all night. I would recommend this game to the 80's generation. Great fun!

The age range is just an estimate, but I think it's a pretty close guess (I'm 29, my boyfriend is 35). I tried playing the 90's Game with my little brother's friends and didn't do as well. My friends and I love this game and have hours of fun with it. We usually play in teams of two or three people, and we all agree it's more entertaining that way (less pressure on the individual). I would recommend an agreed upon time limit (like 1 or 2 minutes) to answer questions, otherwise the game gets a bit long. Also, the sports questions are very specific, which puts you at a disadvantage if you don't know anything about sports (but gives you an edge if you're a sports buff). In summary, the 80's Game is a totally tubular experience for people who came of age in the 80's.

I realize that a lot of people won't know all of the information from the game, but for our family it just made "family time" all the better. The four of us grouped up in two teams and played for almost 3 hours straight the first time around! It was great to remember some of the answers and to learn others. Now I just have to learn sports a little more ?! ha ha ha. If anyone just wants to have a good time, even if you don't know it all, try this game out. Have a large party at your house and play. I truly believe you'll have a great time !!

This game is a blast, there are tons of fun questions that if you grew up in the 80's you would know. Or at least remember when the answer is read to you. :)Love it

We bought this game (along with 3 other new games) for a small reunion of college friends over the weekend. We only played one game ... "The 80's Game." It was a huge hit. Everyone absolutely loved the game. The only thing remotely negative was that everyone kept saying "Why don't they have the same game for the 70's."

We bought all three of these games ( 70's, 80's, and 90's)and we love them. We enjoyed them a lot better than the Trivial Pursuit 20th Anniversary game because the questions we more fun and weren't as hard as TP. TP had ridiculous questions and I wonder if ANYONE knew some them. We are very big trivia game fans and I would recommend these games to anyone.

If you were born between 1965 and 1980, you MUST own this game. The set-up of the game is good, but the questions are great. You will have a blast remembering some of the crazy songs/people/movies of the 80s. Big hair not required.
