From Library Journal
This source offers a quick walk-through of points to consider when starting a typing service. Readers can use it to ensure that all planning issues have been considered. After surveying the mechanics of operating a word - processing business and of small business management, marketing, and finance, the book goes on to cover a wide range of planning issues, including product selection, advertising, invoicing, pricing, equipment and supplies, and computer programs. It is not, however, all a freelancer needs to start a successful word-processing business. Though there is a breadth of coverage, each topic lacks depth. Recommended only for public libraries with comprehensive collections on starting small businesses.
