Cherry and Rory. A couple living life fast and hard until tragedy on the racetrack sends Rory on a one-way ticket to the hospital. Or so Cherry thought.

When she sees Rory at another race seven months later, she's furious over his disappearing act. But the reality of Rory's new life puts Cherry in danger. Especially when the jerk who caused Rory's accident turns out to be a no-so-nice vampire who wants Cherry for himself.

This is a hot story, but the real plus is the sympathy Ms. Trelawny develops in her characters. Rory is a young man who's literally had his life ripped away yet learns to live again, and Cherry finds the strength to love Rory no matter what he is.

I'm looking forward to Ms. Trelawny's next book in this series, especially if it features Rory's hunky cousin Cameron.

Yikes! This was a wild ride with two very hot main characters - Rory and Cherry. I love the work of Ms. Trelawny.
