This review is from: Startech PCI2IDE133 Dual-Channel PCI Ultra ATA/133 Drive Controller Card (Office Product)
If you're buying one of these cards is because you know you need it.

You need to have an available standard PCI slot in order to install it. It comes with a 2-connectors IDE cable so you can start using it after you install it. I'm using it with only one 200GB Seagate hard drive attached to it.

Windows XP automatically installed the drivers for the card (it will be recognized as a RAID adapter) and I had only to format the hard drive to make a big NTFS partition (it was an 'ext3' partition in the previous computer).

Recommended if you need to add more IDE devices on your computer.

NOTE 1: If you're adding more IDE devices to your computer, make sure your power supply will hold enough power demand, or you will have to buy also another power supply (like my case).

NOTE 2: I'm rating it 4 starts because I haven't tried it with multiple IDE devices and have no idea how it will perform.
