This seems to be a complete starter kit with all the parts and ingredients needed to begin brewing beer. I purchased it as a gift from someone's wish list, and he is happy with the ease of set-up and start-up. Additional supplies are available at local stores or on the internet to continue brewing after the original batches are made.

This kit is a good place to start. As your obsession with brewing continues you'll want to add a wort chiller, wort thief and a hydrometer, but that's it! Unless of course you want to ferment more than one batch at a time, then you will need a second carboy. The IPA is fantastic - malty with a nice hoppy aroma and bitterness.
