Thought-provoking insights from someone who has been there.,

This review is from: Starting Over: Meditations for Divorced Women (Days of Healing, Days of Change) (Paperback)
This page-a-day book is bound to help women (or men) get through the trials and tribulations that separation and divorce bring. Each day is labeled with a thought or feeling, and those terms are indexed in the back of the book for easy reference. There are humorous, serious, and useful quotes from famous literists, followed by the author's commentary, and concluding with a daily affirmation. A wonderful source of strength.

This book is a must have for anyone going through a divorce. It will encourage, comfort, and bring healing to you. A friend gave me this book years ago when I was going through a divorce and it helped me tremendously. I have recommended this book to several women throughout the years. I passed my book on to two other women and they also said that they were encouraged and helped by this book. I recently purchased this book for an associate because I am confident that this book will soothe her heart.

Highly recommend to any woman divorcing,
This review is from: Starting Over: Meditations for Divorced Women (Days of Healing, Days of Change) (Paperback)
For me, this book covered all the emotional issues you go through when separating and divorcing. It lets you know that you are not alone during this devastating process. The content conveys a lot to the reader without taxing an already stressed-out mind. I laughed and cried while reading the daily meditations. I made notes on the most meaningful of passages and sometimes go back and read these over and realize how far I've come now, 8 years later. This book really was a good friend to me during one of the most difficult periods in my life. I recommend it to any of my female friends going through divorce.
