5.0 out of 5 stars Fab felt projects! November 10, 2011
Format:Paperback
The Stash Happy line of books by Lark Crafts, focuses on offering creative suggestions to utilize your scraps and stash of fabric, felt and other crafting materials. This latest installment in the series, Stash Happy: Felt: 30 Fun Projects for Felt (and Fabric) Lovers, is packed with thirty projects all focusing on using fray-free felt. This is the second book about great felt ideas by author Amanda Carestio; her Falalala Felt, released last year, had lots of adorable Christmas felt fun. This new book has designs by the author, as well as many talented designers who have contributed their own unique ideas for felt projects to use up your stash of colorful felt. If you have any wool sweaters sitting around unused, Stash Happy Felt even has instructions for transforming them into felt that will work perfect in several of the projects.

There is a wide variety of ideas in Stash Happy Felt, with complete directions for each one, ranging from large, brightly colored hanging Carnation Decorations to gorgeous felt Gift Tags. I loved the simple, yet striking, Vintage Trivets, where the beautiful vintage fabrics peek out from the felt cut-outs sewn on to the top. And the button and flower embellished Cutie Crown would be treasured by any young girl! Baby booties, bookmarks, a scarf, clutch and hat are just a few of the other delightful projects in Stash Happy Felt.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book! November 22, 2011
Format:Paperback
Stash Happy felt is such a cute, fun and versatile book. I've already made 2 projects from it, with plans to make a lot more. The projects are quick, easy and inexpensive. I like too, that a lot of the projects can be done with kids. I have a 13 year old niece that loves to do crafts and projects and these are peerfect for her and I to spend an afternoon doing together. From great ideas for gifts to home dec and just for fun projects....you won't be dissapointed. Great book Amanda!

5.0 out of 5 stars A fun book for crafters December 15, 2011
By Arctica
Format:Paperback
This little book will have you itching to get started on the many projects inside. The projects use purchased felt as well as felt made from recycled woollens. I am glad I have save my scraps of felt from other projects as they will certainly be used up creating some of these delightful creations.
