These tea bags by Stash, special occasion green tea, are pretty darn good as far as green tea bags go. They have a definate green tea flavor, and are not a wishy-washy green tea wanna be. They are about as good as brewing a Japanese loose green tea leaf yourself, but without the hassle. Great for your everyday fix.

This Special occasion green tea that Stash Tea sells is made by a 200 year old Japanese tea Co. called Yamamotoyama.I've been drinking this tea for over ten years and, in my opinion,it is a superb green tea.It has a mild,slightly astringent taste that I think is great.But please don't brew it for more than 3 minutes to achieve the optimum flavor.I highly recommend this tea.

I have had many different green teas over the years, but this is the best green tea ever. Its very smooth and not 1 bit bitter. Its by far the best green tea I've ever had. I highly recommend this tea, you wont be disappointed.

I've subscribed to this tea, which should tell you how much of it I drink. The tea is less delicate than many greens, but far milder than most gunpowders. It brews a light clear greenish shade and is good either hot or cold. Like most Stash teas, the tea leaves are larger and higher quality than you would expect from a standard paper tea bag. The quality is pretty good and the price is quite reasonable.

I happened upon this Stash Premium Japanese Special Occasion Green Tea at a local job lot store. My wife and I liked it so much, I went to all of their outlets and bought up their stock. When it ran out, I went to my next favorite place (Amazon.com) to get more.

I suggest that you don't buy it so that there is enough for me when I want to resupply. LOL

Enjoy its rich aroma and taste (even squeeze out the bag to get the last of it as I do) and the hopeful benefits of the antioxidants.

I'm a big fan of Stash teas but this one doesn't do it for me. It's not objectionable -- more like forgettable. Just not enough oomph (consider that I am a coffee drinker for half of the day -- dark roasts.)

This is a light green tea with none of the cloying floweriness or bitterness that's common in bagged green tea. It brews quickly (the instructions recommend 1-3 minutes), yet never seems to oversteep; I usually keep the teabag in my cup and refill it with hot water for a second helping.

Don't let the name fool you: This is an excellent tea for everyday drinking. It's become my favorite plain green tea, yielding consistently high quality at a reasonable price (particularly with Subscribe & Save). I also enjoy Stash Moroccan Mint Green Tea for a bit of variety every now and then.
