5.0 out of 5 stars A conceptual cross trench dug through the sonic environment of today, December 5, 2008
By
This review is from: State of the Union (Audio CD)
146 artists on two CD's. Each one gets sixty seconds of time to fill with their own audio creation.

The result is an awesome collection of found noises, field recordings, mutant garage bands, industrial noise, social commentary, sonic experiments, and some of the most interesting music you have heard in a long time.

The collection digs a conceptual cross trench through the sonic environment of today and distills the results into 146 minute long jewels of unpredictability and misdirected genius.

Listen to it on random shuffle and the non-sequitir fun never stops -- it just "keeps on giving." You will never hear music the same again.

Put a CD on at a party and see what happens. Buy a few extra copies of this CD and give them to strangers and miscreants.
