Parsa on Revolution,
By "currentlyareviewer" (post Hanover, NH) - See all my reviews
This review is from: States, Ideologies, and Social Revolutions: A Comparative Analysis of Iran, Nicaragua, and the Philippines (Paperback)
Parsa, with whom I studied at Dartmouth, being in the first courses on Revolutions using his book, presents a compelling analysis of the three revolutions. The failure of his book is to properly engage, aside from a brief note in his introduction, the history of revolution theory. And the further failure is that he only showed videos in the classroom, vaguely, if ever, "teaching." |
