About the Author
Barry Turner succeeds Brian Hunter as only the seventh editor in The Statesman’s Yearbook history. He has a Ph.D. in political theory and has been a full time writer for twenty years.

Contained within this book is everything you could ever want to know about any country in the world. For each state it covers geography (size, location, etc), history, current politics, imports/exports, transportation, the number of movie theaters, the number of seats in the theatres, and a whole lot more. Truly an amazing reference for anyone interested in other countries; or your own for that matter.
