I purchased these with the "Nellie's PVC Free Dryer balls" (which are great) and was ready to go totally chemical free!
But these do not work at all. I live in a dry climate (NM)the winter inside humidity drops to around 15% and the static when using these was unbelievably bad! These may work in a higher humidity environment but as one person said "winter is an issue?" save your money and time and get something else.

I like that it is natural and that it does help. But here in dry Colorado, on really dry days, it does not work very well. Normal days it does okay. I have found that a 1/2c vinegar in the wash helps a lot too.

I really wanted this to work, I'm even still using them as well. But everything is still static-y. It's winter which I am sure it is part of the problem. But I wanted them to work full time. I've even tried to put cotton towels in the dryer with the more synthetic clothes - I think I need to add more cotton...
