Thank god for college radio. WMBR (M.I.T.'s) station in particular. They featured a song from this LP on on of their daily shows during the summer and I had to seek the LP out immediately. It amazes me that no one has reviewed this yet. What's wrong with you people? Sounding like a three-way pile up between Mission Of Burma, Wipers and Hot Snakes The Estranged rifle through 10 songs like a band who are on a mission. Their mission, to take back rock music from the Pitchfork crowd who seem hellbent on an art-rock revival (Fleet Foxes, Decemberists, etc..). Punk (great punk) is not dead. The Estranged have snatched it from life-support and are ready, willing and able to revive it.
