They Ruined it
I have been searching for the Holy Grail Statistical Theory book. I found the Second Edition of this text from the 1970's and it was perfect. I ordered this book, and they removed all of the examples and explanations that made the second edition so fantastic. Now it's as bad as Casella's book. Try to find an older edition, it will be worth it!

I have been searching for the Holy Grail Statistical Theory book. I found the Second Edition of this text from the 1970's and it was perfect. I highly recommend it.
