I have taken a stats class before and have skimmed quite a few textbooks on the subject while teaching myself factor analysis for school, but nothing even compares to this book. Heinz Kohler introduces you immediately to practical Stats application rather than just theory, and what's more his explanations are clear, simple, and often quite ingenious. Truly a pleasure to read and learn from. If you are taking a stats class and are as hopelessly lost as I have been this is the remedy for you.
