I've noticed that the majority of reviews of this textbook only address issues related to shipment and the condition of the book upon arrival. But what about content? It's awful. Really. Who wants a math book that reads like a textbook. I've taken a few algebra classes this year and this is my first stats class. The algebra books contained multitudes of clear examples with step by step instructions. This book has long, complicated text-only paragraphs that you have to re-read multiple times and then they fail to provide many (there are a few, but very lacking)illustrated examples of HOW to arrive at the answer. This sort of book needs to be supplemented by other methods of information (classroom, tutors, Internet) to be really useful. Of course, some of us can't rely on our teachers to help, as the quality of professors varies about as much as textbooks!! It CANNOT stand on its own most of the time. Very hard to grasp. Two thumbs down.

I am using this textbook for a Business Statistics II course. It is much more difficult to understand than the book I used in the Bus. Stat. I course I took last semester.

I have the 3rd edition, and it does a good job of explaining how to use Excel for data analysis. This might make it too much for undergrads just getting their feet wet. It's a nice review for anyone that had stats a long time ago, and a good go-to reference.

There are solutions to even numbered problems in the back, so you can learn quite a bit working the solved problems.

The book was perfect until we came to ANOVA. It did not do a great job explaining the concepts.Good for MBA students; its questions are management based.

It is just unacceptable. I just received my book I ordered yesterday. I was so excited to have this book for my favorite finance course.
But what I found on the first few pages of the book was so much was mold!!!!! It is just not acceptable. I really want to return this and get my refund. However, since I need this book as soon as possible, I decided to keep it after tearing those moldy pages. poor hygiene and sanitary issue is clearly here in my book.

The book was described as "used-good" but I received a very dirty item.
It looks like the book has been opened and used to clean the foor.
The first pages are in a such state I fill unconfortable to touch them.
I wrote to Bookbyte, since I want to return the item, but they do not answer.
Never ever purchase from Bookbyte123, stay away from this vendor, save you money and your time.

the book I purchased was suppose to have an attached CD-rom specified in the description

"1 of Statistics for Business and Economics, 10th Edition (with Student CD-ROM)"

they however sent me one without one

the shipping was however pretty fast, although I made sure to order this book from within the state of florida, where i live.

eventually They did actually send me what i had purchased

so i have changed my rating to 4 star

they gave me what i bought from them
