From School Library Journal
Grade 4-6 With this year's high interest in the Statue of Liberty, it is not surprising that it has been worked into the participation format. In this one, you are on a class trip to visit the Statue and can have two separate types of adventuresa modern search for treasure hidden in the Statue, or a time-travel voyage as an immigrant orphan coming to America. The historical adventure plots are more accurate and involving, and they give a fair sample of shipboard and immigration problems at the turn of the century. Lots of information about the Statue is woven into the book.
