This review is from: The Statue of Liberty (Ready-to-Read Level 1: Wonders of America) (Paperback)
This book contains very, very little information, even for a 32-page book. Some drawings illustrating what the statue originally looked like, show her in a golden color, and those illustrating modern times show her in (horrific) shades of green, but NOWHERE in the book does it say why that is, while one entire spread is dedicated to the two words, "Guns saluted." I'm not sure what age this is geared to---some of the words are too high level for really young readers that this book appears to target.
