4.0 out of 5 stars Great Picture Book, June 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this little book to use for a VBS lesson that related to the Statue of Liberty. I wanted to be able to tell the kids some facts about the statue and show them some good pictures. This book was just what I needed. It's very inexpensive and has great photos. The text is very simple, so the book could be read easily by a beginning reader. An added bonus was a section at the back with clever teaching ideas to use in the classroom. (I borrowed one of those for my lesson and was praised for coming up with such a neat idea!) I recommend this book as a good picture book for beginning readers or as something useful for teachers of young kids.
