Marcia Lassell, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology/Clinical Professor of Marriage and Family; Past President of the American Association for Marriage and Family"As a practicing psychiatrist and psychiatric researcher, I am confronted multiples times a day with men and women strugling with relationships, or even career related decisions. The key question that has them in conflict of such a profound dimension that it produces both psychological and biological distress is "Do I stay or do I go?" Dr. Occhetti has skillfully woven practical clinical wisdeom into an entertaining and instructive book. I cannot imagine readers or concerned friends and family of readers who are in the midst of sucha dilemma not benefiting immensely from the yers of knowledge that Dr. Occhetti has shared in this book. Once people understand what makes them tick and whta motivates their partners, most are able to make more intellegent decisions about the most important thing in our lives -- meanigful relationships. "Do I Stay or Do I Go?" is a must read for mental health professionals and healthcare professonals who see countless patients each day in emotional distress from relationship crises. Regrettably, it is not just the two parties involved that are torn apart by the dilemma of whether to end relationships. Children, stepchildren, parents, grandparents, co-workers, and society all suffer from the emotional drain and anger that occurs when relationships are struggling, flawed or ending. Congratulations to Dr. occhetti for a masterful and entertaining book, dealing with one of life's greatest problems. --
