"The Critic's" evaluation is way off the mark. This album is filled with more than a few of the greatest guitarists alive. "Dull" is hardly the word to describe this album. It is true that the songs have a very laid-back sound, almost 'easy listening'style about them. Usually not my style but Mr. Guitar is Mr. Guitar. Chet and his buddys pull it off just fine.

First of all Chet Atkins is a legend. Moreover, I will have a biased opinion of this CD. I worked on this record. It was at the mixing stage and I assisted the mixing engineer during the process. This had been one of the most memorable moments of my career in the music business.

All the tunes of this CD have a laid back feel to it. I must say that having this feel is in no way meaning tired, or played out. Chet and friends have played their licks deliberately. Strumming, picking, doodling, and shredding, all done tastefully with Chet sitting near giving an approving nod and this CD is the culmination of those sessions.

This is not a concept album, but each song ties in seamlessly. Although there are flavors for everyone, the surprise is not realizing you are already listening to the next song. How cool is that?

The title befits the CD because once you start listening you will stay tuned.

I had this CD back in the mid 90's and lost it in a move along with many other cd's. Forgot how good this and Street Dreams cd's were!

What a great find. The masters together. Chet Atkins, Larry Carlton, George Benson.....all of them. These artists are all masters who make their complicated licks seem easy and natural. All gifted players.

This CD flows, carries the listener, seduces you as you find yourself hearing each and every note and anticipate the one to follow.

Each artist's style blends effortlessly with the other geniuses, creating a one of a kind treasure.
