I really liked the way this book was organized. It make it very easy for me to identify my most toxic personal areas to work on like sugar and heavy metals. I have lost over 10 pounds and am having my fillings changed PLUS I no longer take aluminum-filled antacids thanks to Ms.Gittleman's wonderful book. I hope to read her others.

Sure I didn't want to face my sugar cravings, parasite fears, heavy metal woes or radiation concerns but Ann Louise Gittleman sure has a way of making it all palatable and readable. Somebody's got to sound the alarm so we can stop aging and feel better in the process.

THIS AUTHOR TELLS IT LIKE IT IS IN A PRACTICAL, USER FRIENDLY WAY. I SUFFERED FROM PARASITES FOR YEARS BEFORE MY DOCTOR FOUND THE PROBLEM. I ONLY WISH I HAD FOUND THIS BOOK EARLIER. THANK YOU

Yes as reviewer said - someone has to keep these alarms going. It is a toxic world and as Ann Louise states toxic in both the physical and mental sense. Well researched, lots of stats and references to back her up. Really a must read. I have written (with Germaine Gibson, or lets be honest Germaine wrote and I helped, sort of)a few health volumes, and more to come - and have just mentioned this toxicity in passing. I feel bad. I should do more.
But thanks to MS Gittleman we have been warned. Please read

I was not please with this book. It's views and the things it tells you to do are too radical for the average person. The book has some good points to make about our environment and how it affects our well being. However, if you follow everything in this book you will not be able to be a normal person.
