4.0 out of 5 stars So Get Started July 7, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
So, get started hardening your property. After all, staying home in a crisis is desirable if at all possible. Bear in mind that certain natural disasters would preclude camping in but, having a defensible, safe environment in your own home makes good sense for many conceivable scenarios. I like the author's recommendations for firearms. Many prepper guides would have one outfit for protracted gun battles worthy of Khandahar Province. The suggestions included here are far more practical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding! Should be in every Preppers Library May 14, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Well written, knows what he is talking about and puts it together well. This is one book you could give to someone who doesn't believe they should prep for disasters etc and it wont scare them into thinking you are Maxx Khillratio from a TEOTWAWKI novel. My full endorsement.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Kindle book ... May 9, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I gave this book four stars because it had information in it most who have been in the military already (or who are planning to join) know, and most non-military types and non-prepers do not care to know. I have three living kids and grand-kids and I'm sad for them. Having said that, it is an easy to understand and well written book.

I would recommend this book to anyone who WANTS to learn real-world facts and have none. The differences between an EMP, a Biological, a Dirty bomb, and a full blown Nuclear bomb, is important.

2.0 out of 5 stars Kind of disappointing October 30, 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
It's rather a thin book and mostly refers the reader to other books or resources on the web. I could probably get better information on the Internet for free. Considering the cost, this book should have had much more detail.

2.0 out of 5 stars Basic Information November 5, 2013

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
really just basic information in this book that any prepper already knows. This might be a good starter resource for people that have no idea how to start prepping.

3.0 out of 5 stars Staying May 4, 2013
By Harry
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Not as good as I thought it would be. It was a I already know most of this stuff. Maybe for a newbie it would be great but for a student of "bugging" it fell short.
