My 11 year old daughter loved this book. She has been worried about staying home alone, and this book has given her the confidence she needed. It includes lots of suggestions for things to do by yourself, as well as good advice/directions about how to stay safe.

This is a great book to read with your child who is thinking about staying home alone. It is a great way to begin thinking about your plans and talk with your child about expectations and safety awareness without being preachy.

Good book with tips on staying alone. Easy to read and relate to. Can be generalized to boys as well. I plan to use it in a class for parents and their child to feel comfortable staying alone after school.
