3.0 out of 5 stars If you liked the film.... February 18, 2003
Format:Audio CD
...read the book. I certainly enjoyed the film, but the book was much better. Really, I'm not 'that guy' who always says that. I'm not a BIG reader...but I couldn't put the book down (its quite long too!). The book is much much funnier (the film couldn't capture alot of Evans' wit) because its obviously more subjective.
The soundtrack is fabulously fun. Legrand's "Di-Gue..." has been pumping in my head for 5 months now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing soundtrack! August 14, 2002
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
I saw this documentary in the theaters and can't wait to add it to my DVD collection. Brett Morgen's documentary about the legendary Robert Evans is nothing short of spellbounding and the soundtrack makes all the differenc! The movie breaks from the "traditional" documentary format and plays a like a feature drama! The movie uses groundbreaking, innovative techiques that thing bring to life a rich library of photographs from the golden age of hollywood to tell the story of this Hollywood mogul. A must have for any movie fan!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great movie, not to mention an even better soundtrack January 7, 2003
Format:Audio CD
The movie itself was great, a must see film for anybody. But the highlight of this product is the soundtrack it ranges from all styles and keeps you moving throught the whole thing. I have to say also that the Slash's version of The Godfather Love Theme is by far the best track on it. To back that up I found out today that he(Slash)is nominated for a grammy for his version of the theme. (I guess he doesn't need GN'R after all.)
