This Trail Cam works better than as advertised, the trip range is about 40 feet.
and the infrared range is about 70 feet. Good crisp color Pics during daytime and nice crisp black and white Pics at night. It also has excellent video color daytime and black and white at night. Well worth the price. I WOULD BUY AGAIN

Tried a different brand trail camera and it was junk. I was a little skeptical about buying this one.
Once I tried it, I couldn't believe how well it worked. Easy to operate and program. Battery life for the C battery's is really not bad, about 2 to 3 weeks. Have had the Camera on the trail for about a month in different weather conditions and it is excellent. Only bad thing I can say is the mounting straps and the way it mounts isn't the best in the world. I bought a cheap mount for it that screws into the bottom and modified it and it works great. For the money it's a real buy

this is a great camera for areas where deer will be sticking around for a little bit of time. the wake up time for the camera leaves something to be desired but if you put it near a food or water source it isnt an issue. my first picture off the camera had 4 deer in it so if that tells you the delay. the night time IR range is better than advertised. i got over 500 pictures from it in temps below freezing and some days below on one set of batteries. great camera but dont expect it to capture a picture of game running past the lense.

After unpacking and looking over this camera I noticed the flimsy latching system that secures the front cover. If you look at its picture you can see them on the right side of the unit. Remembering this observation, I was extra careful opening and closing the cover. Well, I have used this camera for three months and both latches have broken off completely from the case, they just snapped off without warning. The plastic used to make the case and the latches is cheap and will not stand up to regular use. Beware!

MY STORY IS SAD. MY SON WAS IN AN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT TWO YEARS AGO. SO WE BOUGHT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO BURY HIM, AND BOUGHT A BEAUTIFUL MONUMENT. WELL LONG STORY SHORT.
MY X BROTHER IN LAW DECIDED TO TAKE HIS ANGER OUT AT MY SONS GRAVE. SO WE BOUGHT THIS CAMERA, PUT IT IN A TREE AT CEMETERY. AND BINGO, HIS FOURTH OUT THERE WAS HIS LAST. THIS CAMERA TAKES MUCH BETTER PICTURES THAN I EVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE. SUCH DETAIL.

ok so i wanted to upgrade from my old trail camera(big mistake)
didnt want to spend a ton of money so i bought what i thought was a decent camera, after all i bought 3 of them (differant brand) a couple years ago for 88 dollars each on amazon and they were great so i bought here again. this camera is not used for hunting, its used to keep an eye on our camp that we only visit on weekend a couple times a month its a good thing i kept my old ones, First off it eats batteries so i bought the adapter and a lead acid battery. problem solved there unit turns off by it self when it wants to once the battery is disconnected you loose you setting , month day etc complicated to set up will not take pictures at night, Ir does not work as it should. called the factory no response. sent an email no response but i can say when it works the pictures are clear but only during the day pics at night are just a black screen. wont buy another one, just put the old ones back up they work perfect. newer is not always better !!!

When it worked, the camera took very nice pictures and videos. They were very clear and showed the detail I was looking for.
Despite following the directions, after approximately one week of use, the camera stopped working. As a result, I missed pictures that I wanted. I believe that by removing the batteries and reinserting (not new batteries because they were new), it would reset and work again. However, this was too much of a hit or miss situation for my purpose so I returned the camera. If the camera had not had the problem of no longer working, I would have been very satisfied with it.

Day and night pictures are of excellent quality. I've owned several digital camera's in general and I'm quite impressed with the quality of this cam. Batteries in Wisconsin's winter temps don't last long so we're going to go for the 12v. Very pleased overall with this cam.

Works OK, Shutter lag and battery consumption lacking.,

I got this camera initially for security but then relegated it to wildlife duty. The unit does work and takes reasonable pictures, but I wish I'd spent a little more money or found a nicer one. The night pics aren't that great (a bit grainy) and the shutter takes a good long while to kick in - I say three or four seconds or so after the motion sensor is tripped. The battery life was about a week under normal use for my situation, so be prepared to replace them often. The day pics we're very good, though. I also found the controls a bit confusing - and I'm a videographer by trade. I wish there were simple toggle switches or menus instead of having to go through a long string of options one at a time - all of which use confusing icons or codes to manipulate.

This add insinuates that both the 2GB and 4GB cards can be used. The camera will not accept the 4GB card.
