I much enjoyed seeing and hearing of the new weapons systems coming on-line, however, this series made too huge mistakes in their script.

One was that tanks are the best defence against tanks which notion has been brought into disrepute since WWII. Infantry, with anti-tank guns, mines or now modern hand held anti-tank weapons are the best defence against tanks.

The other was the implication in one of the shows that bombing an enemy could "demoralize" them into surrendering. This has been shown faults in WWII and many minor wars. A determined enemy will NOT surrender despite all the air power brought to it.

One other thing I don't like about the show is the narrator . . . supposed former SEAL. His trite and banal comments are hyped in an apparent attempt to make everything seem exciting and breathtaking and is exceedingly annoying.

While interesting technology, it is weapons like this that convince governments that war is winnable and therefore something that is ok. While it is good to be prepared for the worst case scenario, it seems hard for boys to not use their toys once they have them.

Very interesting to see the future of warfare....Looking at all these new technologies it becomes clear why we're still in the Middle East. Many of these weapons have entered service since the airing of this season, so as always it's all about the business of war. Maybe these companies would like to foot the bill??? LMFAO!!!
