4.0 out of 5 stars Episode 2 - Euro Explosion, December 28, 2002

This CD is great, as was the first one. I especially like the Danny Tenaglia Mix of HOLD MY BODY TIGHT. This CD has the GUVNOR MIX of IT'S ALRIGHT that I mentioned in one of my previous reviews. DEEP is a classic from this group's debut album WALTHAMSTOW. Really, if you enjoyed the first CD, you'll like this one as well. And if you've never heard of East 17 but you want a different taste in music, this is a great group to start with.

5.0 out of 5 stars A classic 'pop' album!, December 4, 2002

East 17 are quite easily the best pop ever. Forget, the Backstreet boys, Britney or any of that nonsense. This is actually good music. It is cheesy, but it is cheesy in the kind of way you dont mind people knowing you own this album. Because it is just that superb.

It is much better thought out, and just generally alot catchier than any of the music in the charts these days. The songs are incredibly, the catchy straight-up pop of Steam, Hold My Body Tigh, Deep and Around The World, will have you hooked. The absolute stormers are House of Love, It's Alright and Let It Rain, those 3 you can't just have playing in the background, you have to listen! Most of the songs are upbeat hits which you can dance to. But the real gem ballad 'stay another day', is their biggest hit and shows you that east 17 are worthy in the vocal department.

If you ever thought of buying this album, do not hesitate, if you are a pop fan and never heard of them, get it now!

Rock with Steam, cry with Stay Another Day and think HARD about Deep. One unforgettable album, shame they couldn't stay together forever. I'll sure miss them

4.0 out of 5 stars A Dance Album that will keep you Movin', March 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Steam (Audio CD)
This album is a dance lover's dream come true. These boys aren't for the young with their sexy and soulful tunes and their sexual lyrics. On some tracks, you can hear a ballads that tug on your heart strings while on others we just can't stay still. For most of these songs, you will most definitely sing along and get into them. If you liked Take That and Boys II Men, then get this album!
