Product Description

Tomparasil is a very forward-thinking elf, embracing the technology of the 19th-century world. When Santa decides to go global, Tom decides his time has come. But there are those in the workshop who would rather he stayed in the boiler room where he belongs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Give it up for SantaPunk, December 27, 2010

I recently started reading steampunk novels and became enraptured by the ideas and possibilities of the genre. I will admit to always being a closet holiday story fanatic. Marc vun Kannon combines both in a superb tale! You immediately fall in love with the main character, and the author's humor is prevalent through the whole story. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll go awwwwwwwww. Steampunk Santa is a holiday tale, sure to become a tradition!

This was my second Steampunk experience ever, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This short story was a fun romp. It's hard to go wrong with Santa and the elves. The story moved along quickly and I rooted for Tom and Flarbignarg's friendship to become solid, and it did. I loved the way the story unfolded and Santa was very fair in the end.

Tomparasil was a great main character, and I could see him working away in my mind's eye.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Power to Entertain, February 13, 2011
This review is from: Steampunk Santa (Kindle Edition)
Marc Vun Kannon never lets his readers down when it comes to clever and inventive stories. Steampunk Santa is now exception. Elves at the North Pole take their jobs very seriously, so when Santa needs a new sleigh design, the race is on.

Steampunk Santa is a quick read with just enough punch to make you wonder what might happen with these characters next Christmas.

A fun read for all ages.

More About the Author

I've been reading fantasy novels since , well, forever, really. I had a complete set of Oz books in my room as a child, and we watched Star Trek every night. We had a game, to guess the episode by the planet they were orbiting, before the title flashed.

Naturally when I was bitten by the authorial bug I wrote fantasy novels. Until I started writing Science Fiction novels. And now I'm doing a paranormal. My publisher takes me on faith now. So far I've written two fantasy novels, Unbinding the Stone and A Warrior Made, and a Science Fiction story that no self-respecting SF type would call SF (it's got werewolves in it) called St. Martin's Moon, as well as a whole slew of short stories:

Chasing His Own Tale and Struck By Inspiration - the comic adventures of Author Guy (no relation);

Off the Map - Reality TV...Without the Reality!

Ex Libris - Mommy, where do dragons come from?

Bite Deep - For lo, unto the vampires this day a savior is...well, not born, exactly.

Steampunk Santa - One elf single-handedly bringing Santa's workshop into the 19th century!

Boys Will Be Boys - Cyber-pirates, sort of.

And I am a big fan of the TV show Chuck, so much so that I wrote some fanfictions that are available at http://www.fanfiction.net .
