I think this life jacket runs a little big. My son has one that is listed as the same size and it is a Stearns as well. However, this one is clearly bigger than the one my son has. So, I was a little disappointed, but I know it will fit my daughter for next summer. Which is okay with me. Other than that it is a really nice quality life jacket.
