too tight on the neck,

I'm not sure it is a design problem, but the jacket is too tight on the neck opening, it practically chocks people on the neck. My daughter is only 10 years old; she cannot wear it because the neck opening is touching her neck on both sides. I end up returning it.

Don't buy if you need 2XL - 3XL,

I bought a women's 3XL life jacket. Unfortunately, I didn't try on the jacket until it was too late to return it. I've have it 9 months & haven't worn it for more than 30 seconds. The actual inside neck of the life jacket says it's good for chests up to 60". It is sold as a woman's jacket - so should be 60" bust, not just diameter. My bust is 53" and I had to move the buckle clips all the way to the end of the mesh straps to buckle up. The padded jacket itself isn't wide enough to comfortably fit around and meet in the middle. Unlike others I've seen, it has fabric all the way around the sides - not front & back panels with open sides (or mesh, or stretchy fabric). This means even though I bought a jacket that should be 7" bigger than I need, I end up with the two front panels (which are not flexible) gapping maybe 6" or so. In other words, the "front" panels actually start on the sides and end about the middle of my breasts with only the mesh strapping holding the life jacket together. This a) looks terrible, b) feels very uncomfortable, c) causes the jacket to bang into my neck & chin and d) seems it would make it almost impossible to lie on my stomach while being pulled on an inflatable. I was happy to find a jacket that I thought would fit me, unfortunately, it seems Stearns skipped over testing this on actual plus-sized women. I expected more from a company that specializes in water products.

Not true to size,

The size is deceiving. I am a 2x and jacket claims it is a 2x/3x. No way! This is more like a medium! I am definately returning this item! So disappointing!

The jacket itself is very nice, but I have only worn it twice. Both times I was tubing. Now the thin black lines on the upper chest are peeling off. It is still brand new.

Great Life vest,

Bought this life vest for color and size. There are not a lot of life vests for plus size women out there that actually look nice too. It fits very well and is pretty comfortable to float in as it doesn't choke you like a lot of vests do.

Bought this (these) jacket(s) for my husband, myself and our friend for a lazy kayaking day. They fit very snugly and comfortably. Also, love that it's pink. ;)
