This fitness tool has several big advantages:

a. Speed: you can do a full-body workout in literally 10 minutes.
b. Light-weight. If I were travelling, I would LOVE this thing. No weights to lug around. It is VERY lightweight. It is compact. It would be perfect for travellers
c. Ease of use. Not hard to learn. You basically do two types of movement: compress the bow (grab both ends and push in and hold), and grab the cables (the cables are steel cables, enclosed in clear rubber) and pull out and hold.

Very easy, very light, compact, and FAST.

I have had the steel bow for about 6 weeks now. It has helped me loose weight and my muscles are firmer. I no longer have back pain. Also it has encouraged my 6 year old daughter to exercise as well which is a good thing.
I don't believe this device will increase your strength as effectively as lifting weights would, nor do a full body workout like weights would - but it is portable and quick and will make you fitter and stronger than you would if you did nothing. Which is important to me as I travel frequently. Definitely worth buying.
Also it is much cheaper than weights or a home gym. And it can fit easily in a closet so not taking up much space in your home
I also use the larger bullworker - both compliment each other as some exercises are more effective with the larger device and some are more effective with the smaller device.

I tried the 38" Bully and found it too long. (I returned it more than a month ago and have yet to receive their money-back guarantee refund.) I didn't know whether to go with the shorter Steel Bow or the 28" model. I chose the shorter because of the versatility with the springs. I thought I would only use it when I travel, but I'm finding I prefer to work with it even when I'm home. I'm very satisfied.

After owning a Bullworker as a kid in the 70's,i decided to buy one again to get into shape again Bullworker style,the only style that work well...involved in rugby for 15 years i have seen a lot of products,believe me,this is the only one !!!Nowhere in South Africa could i find one...not in JunkMail either(i placed an ad with offer of R1000 (140 USD)...nothing happend !Thanx Amazon,i could not believe when i found it,ordered and the Bullworker was delivered in 10 days !My Bullworker has given me a new life again...lost 9 kg's so far (13 weeks)...must loose another 5 or so and i feel and look well in shape again.(Please note,i am not on any diet !!!)Thanx again.Frans van Niekerk - Pretoria,South Africa.

If my workouts with the Bullworker produced no greater result than to strengthen my lower back muscles and put and end to the excruciating pain I used to suffer, I would still consider it to be worth ten times what I paid for it; but it's done more than that. Because of those workouts, at the age of 58 I'm well on my way to looking better--below the neck, anyway--than I ever have in my life. So what if it isn't going to make me the next Arnold? I suppose I could say that at my age I don't aspire to be the next Arnold anyway, but then I never did. Simply not looking like the typical American middle-aged couch potato would have been good enough for me, but my Bullworker workouts are taking me even beyond that--to places I never would have thought someone my age could go. I would say to anyone contemplating buying this product, don't listen to those who would have you believe it's a useless waste of money. Get one (I don't think the specific model much matters, at leasst not at the beginning), but use it and stick with it. Incorporate a sensible diet plan and some cardiovascular work into your regimen, and I see no reason why you can't produce results as dramatic as mine.

Nice size. I also have the ISO7X which is similar, but longer. I like the fact that this has 3 springs for different levels of strength for more choices. Overall, satisfied with the product.

The Steel Bow (or the Bullworker) is the finest piece of muscle-building equipment ever built! Working on the principles of isometric as well as isotonic muscle contraction, its the fastest and most efficient way to gain muscle mass and strength. Lifting weights never worked for me, but the Steel Bow works like a charm. I highly recommend it!

I don't understand the few bad reviews on this product. I've had mine about a week now and I'm impressed. The quality of it feels outstanding. It's versatility is unmatched to me. You can literally lay on your couch and get your arms and chest pumped up and bulging. I can already feel myself getting alot stronger already. This isn't a joke or a gimmick. It's real, proven, scientific technology. Bruce lee used the same type of exercises and an actual bull worker to get his physique. It's simple here folks. Watch the DVD, do what it says, get a body the easy way.

This is a great product. But, use it wisely and as is recommended. It is light weight and convenient. It works if you work it, as recommended. Set achievable fitness goals and use common sense with the diet and exercise routine. The result is amazing strength.

My wife and I purchased both this and the Bow-Classic. Originally this was going to be for my wife to accomodate her smaller arm span. However, I have found that my work-out is just as efficient with the smaller device as with the Bow-Classic. While I have only had this for a couple of days, I can feel that the work-out is one of the most efficient I have ever had with regard to how precise the tension is centered on each of my muscle groups. I am looking forward to seeing the effects after about a month. At which point I will update this review to keep you posted!

Regarding the construction of the Steel-Bow and Bow-Classic, these are not the sort of flimsy, cheaply made products you would see on a TV infomercial. The steel construction of the main shafts and the steel cables feel sturdy and will most certainly last longer than any other piece of exercise equipment I have ever owned.
