Dorsey is a refreshing and believable hero!, March 8, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Steel City Confessions (Mass Market Paperback)
In the third book in the Dorsey series, Mr. Lipinski combines elements and characters from the previous two books to bring us a tale that is completely entertaining and very worth telling.
If you have not yet read the first two books in the series, you will not be lost by reading the third, however, my bet is you will want to pick up both The Fall Down Artist and A Picture of Her Tombstone after reading Steel City Confessions.
Dorsey is a completely likeable and believable PI. He has emotions like the rest of us, a past history, and friends and family that are part of his life (some good, some bad). Unlike many of the lead characters in mystery fiction today, Mr. Lipinski's Dorsey is someone who could exist.
I definitely give this book (and the others in the series) 5 stars!
