I bought this guitar for my son for his birthday so he is going to do this review.

Don't buy this guitar. COMPLETE letdown. I love my mom for trying but your better off getting a Yamaha C40. It's a little more expensive but it beats the hell out of this.

First off, It SMELLS like varnish and it still hasnt gone away. The fretboard is too narrow, there was glue all over the top. Sound is muted because of the laminated top. There was a LOT of sawdust inside (I used an Air compressor to blow most of it out but there is still some in there) and the strings are too close together because of the narrow neck making it difficult to get a decent sound without buzzing. It does not hold it's tune very well, Mostly because of the gig bag (more later) and the strings suck (again, Later) and the tuner pegs, while they are brass, tend to slip making it go out of tune. The bridge is also too weak to support better strings.

The accessories are plentiful I have to say. It came with a guitar stand which is pretty decent, a nylon gig bag which is a little snug and does cause it to go out of tune a bit when you take it in and out, If it wasnt soo tight it would be perfect, the bag that is. The neck strap is decent but standard black, I would have liked a matching strap. The extra set of strings are just that, extra. They are cheap weak little strings which would break if I had the courage to go all out on this thing. It also came with a pitch pipe tuner which was made in china, where they have thier own idea of what EADGBE sounds like. A Capo was included with the guitar....It's a good one? Funny thing, It came with an allen wrench as well, COMPLETELY useless. You cant use an allen wrench on an acoustic like this. I just threw it in my toolbox. Last but not least, the picks. It came with five pearlescent tyedye looking picks which I would never be caught playing with. they are mostly pink looking with splashes of blue red and green in them.

To recap, If you want a guitar THAT badly and it's all you can afford, go ahead and get this one. If you want something that sounds decent get a Yamaha C40 or I also reccomend an Ibanez Jampack IJV50 (I bought this one a few weeks later) which you can usualy find for under $100 (like at the Dallas Based Brook Mays, I'm sure they have a website too ;P )

This guitar is an excellent deal! I was so impressed with it, that I bought a second one as a gift. To start with, this is a great guitar if you want to learn to play or general playing. It comes with lots of accessories, including a set of strings, bag, and strap. The color of the guitar is fantastic! And, the tuner pegs are made of brass, not some cheap pice of plastic. The pegs did slip the first few times I played, but after a while they seemed to stick...I guess it just takes some time and getting used to. This guitar produces a nice tone. The action seems fine to me (neither too high or too low), which makes it relatively easy to play. I think that it is a great guitar for the price! I would highly recommend it!

The fact that, for years, I have been playing a guitar that was too big for me may have something to do with my enthusiaim. But, I have really enjoyed this guitar! For over 30 years I have been struggling with a guitar that was simply too much guitar for my frame and my hands. I played well enough. Now I can make chord changes faster and the tone is nice and clear. The volume is very good. Not knowing when they were installed, or what kind they were, the first thing I did was change strings (with a quality brand) I have truely enjoyed the guitar and so has my music director. LOL
Might I suggest you carry a 3/4 or 1/2 for younger students?

Jan 2012 Update - Just thought I would let you know that after nearly six years of playing this guitar later, it is still a pleasure to listen to and to play. There has been absolutely no warping of the fret-board (I was afraid there would be) and the tone is still true and mellow. It is, however, not very loud. Which was fine for me as a backup player. But now that I have moved up front, I had to add a small pickup mic. (sigh - now all my mistakes are heard loud and clear ;-/) It is okay though, the congregation is very forgiving. Be that as is may, I still stand by my review. If you are looking for a good, inexpensive guitar, that you will be playing for pleasure or (like me) for church or school, this will do you very well.

I think this guitar isn't that good. It's a good price but if you really want a decent guitar you should get one with a good brand. I know it comes with lots of accessories, but $80.00 is a lot to pay for the accessories if, the guitar is useless to you. If you just want to play for fun, then buy this one. If you want to learn to play, then get a decent guitar. I know this product looks nice but I would't recommend it. This is just my opinion though so if you think it's nice go ahead and buy it! The gutiar works really well but i had problems with changing the strings. A table knife really doesnt work in trying to get the pin out like the manual says. i had to take it to a shop, but overall it is a good gutiar.

Cheapest guitar ever made. Did not work at all! Emailed asking for a return address, got an email back asking what was wrong and they tried to send me new strings. When I replied back that we didnt want new strings, it wouldnt fix the problem, I never heard from them again.

I bought this guitar for my daughter who is starting to take guitar lessons. She has used it about a month now. It is a decent acoustic guitar, and it comes with a nice assortment of accessories to get started. Nice guitar package for the price.

The guitar came in fantastic condition I must say...but the only acessories it actually came with were the guitar, case and stand. That would have been perfect...if it had been all that I ordered. But it was in excellent condition other than that.
