The 3/8" long crimped steel wires are firmly attached by the steel clamp casing. The rounded shape allows for vertical usage in tight/narrow areas. The extra-fine wire is great for creating an Ultra-Smooth surfaces on wood, metal or ceramics. Perfect for removing paint and rust! The 1/8" shaft should fit perfectly on most dremel/rotary tools.
