5.0 out of 5 stars Thin, sleek, and an awesome purchase for any gamer
This mousepad is simply marvelous, and probably the best value in gaming mousepads I've found. I went from the cheap, normal-sized mousepads to this, and the difference is astounding. A mousepad at least this large is fantastic for any FPS gamer--and essential, if you ask me. I used to be a high-sensitivity player because I hated sliding off the pad when I would turn...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for G500 mouse
Bought this specifically because of it's size and was impressed w/ it when I first opened it up. Used it for about 2 weeks with my G9 without any complaints. However, my G9 started acting up (buttons made new clicking sounds and getting stuck) so I figured since I had a decent mousepad, I would upgrade my mouse, too. Decided to get the G500 and have had issues since...

This mousepad is simply marvelous, and probably the best value in gaming mousepads I've found. I went from the cheap, normal-sized mousepads to this, and the difference is astounding. A mousepad at least this large is fantastic for any FPS gamer--and essential, if you ask me. I used to be a high-sensitivity player because I hated sliding off the pad when I would turn quickly. Of course, that kills your accuracy. Now, I'm learning to use low sensitivities, which has hugely, HUGELY improved my game, and I don't risk running off the pad very often. I can basically make a full 360-degree rotation without dropping off the pad.

The pad is very large, as the description might suggest. It's roughly the area of four normal-sized (~9.125x7.75-in) mousepads. If you have four such mousepads, you may want to lay them out on your desk to see if you'd like how the mousepad fits on there.

The mousepad is very high-quality, and it sticks onto the desk like it's glued. The surface is very well-designed, and my MX-518 glides like a dream over it. There is low friction on the palms. The pad is very thin, so if you need a mousepad in order to cover up potholes on your desk, this may not work for you.

If you're looking for a large gaming-grade cloth mousepad with high quality pad a very low price tag, you should look no further than this.

First off, I'll state that I am an overzealous gamer with far too many peripherials for my own good. The Qck+ mouse-pad was not just another run-of-the-mill pad that I could find in wal-mart. The surface is super slick for a cloth pad. It is very large; anyone that slips off this pad while even 360 degree turning needs to switch hobbies. It seems to be durable. The test of time will determine this, but the material just feels like quality. The logo is sweet; the appearance is fantastic. If you do not feel more confidence simply from the studdly-ness of the pad as you make a left turn into a 300 yard valley full of snipers, once again, find another hobby. I owned an Ice-mat before this(a tempered glass pad with custom mouse feet), and while the ice was good, I believe I like the added friction of this mat better. The mix between friction and feel is not to be beat.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Awesome Giant Mousepad, August 21, 2009
By
This review is from: SteelSeries QcK+ Gaming Mouse Pad (Black) (Personal Computers)
I have owned this product since about 2005 up to late 2009. My QcK+ has the old logo on it that is much less noticeable compared to this.

Basically this is an awesome mousepad, it's giant, it's responsive, smooth, and it lasts forever. I am now purchasing the standard QcK as it is a smller size because my current mouse (MX518) is going out so I figured I might as well get a new mouse pad with a new mouse. I do not need one this large as I don't game in very low sensitivity, however it has been convenient since I sometimes sit upright or lean and I can hold the mouse in almost anyway and still be covered. I think I will cut up my old QcK into 4 mousepads that I will use for my abused workstations.

The only bad thing now is that it isn't a jet black color like it was before but more of a washed out black. Then again I've had people scratch it with their fingernails because it leaves white lines when you do that, spill so many different things on it, and I've washed with soap and water plenty of times.

Hands down a big part of my gaming history.

Well, the product itself is pretty amazing. It's very soft and allows easy mouse movement. Before I was not using a mouse pad at all and it was messing up the surface of my table. The only bad thing about this mouse pad is that for me, it gets dirty real quick. Little pieces of dust and whatnot land on it and I have to clean it once or twice a week (but that's just because my room is dusty). It's also humongous. I forgot how big a QcK+ was so when I got it, I had to move my whole computer setup half a foot to the left just to make space for the mouse pad. I didn't really look at the mouse pad dimensions when I purchased this, so that was my fault.

It's a mouse pad. A HUGE mouse pad. Probably too big. But I like it nonetheless.

Decided to give it a try as my last 4-year old mouse pad, an 'el cheapo' made of plastic, is now warped and spitting down the middle. It was even causing abrasive 'scars' on my cheap mouse. The smaller QCK was not available so I decided to try the QCK+ (the '+' means XL).

Dimensions are as follows: 17.7in x 15.7in x 0.08 in.

Material has a nice texture, so I guess it will last a while. It took some rearranging of my messy desk to come to terms with the sheer size of this mouse pad. Never will I lift my mouse off the surface again!

Mouse now glides over the pad with ease. Time to get a proper gaming mousepad to pair with it. I think it has enhanced my gaming in Team Fortress 2.

Get one (but in a smaller size!). You won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING, June 7, 2011

this bad boy is amazing. beware, it's freaking huge. lol.

i play all games including cs, starcraft2, wow, hon, and all that jazz and this mouse pad is amazing for it. it's damn smooth, especially when i run it with my deathadder. melts like buttah. the only good(bad) thing about this mouse pad is that it's ginormously big, just like my.... wait i am asian nvm. for those of you with a smaller desk, get the qck instead of plus, unless you play cs on 1~1.5 sensitivity. if you are more of a hand person rather than wrist, get this bad boy, or else if you are just a chillaxing gamer that plays the sport of starcraft, go with them qck. you wont regret it. i have had it for over a year now, still smooth and excellent.

lol, my grammar for this review has been horrible. w/e that's what they taught me at cal ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars such a great mousepad, August 1, 2009
This review is from: SteelSeries QcK+ Gaming Mouse Pad (Black) (Personal Computers)
The way this mousepad was constructed is unbelievable. No where on it has extra skin like most pads do its big and smooth. i have fallen in love with it since i play Cs 1.6. my gameplay has gone up quite alot also. Once i put my logitech g5 on this baby its game time. It just feels right moving your mouse around and seeing how smooth it is. no skips whatsoever! I would highly recomend this pad to anyone that plays a lot of online gaming.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice but huge, March 4, 2009
This review is from: SteelSeries QcK+ Gaming Mouse Pad (Black) (Personal Computers)
This pad is very smooth and feels very nice. It's definitely a quality product but it's seriously huge... You could cut this thing into fourths and each piece would still be bigger than your average mouse pad. It's nice though for gaming as you don't have to pick up your mouse as much.

I wish I would have saved a little money and purchased one of the smaller equivalents instead but again it's very nice.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Giant Mouse Pad, February 19, 2009

This review is from: SteelSeries QcK+ Gaming Mouse Pad (Black) (Personal Computers)
It is what it is - a giant mouse pad. My gaming has gotten better since I started using it, mostly because it is so big. It lets you do bigger, faster movements. My little brother is a hardcore gamer, and he said he wishes it were a little bigger. I think he's a little crazy. It forces me to keep my desktop a little less cluttered, so that's a nice side benefit. Plus it gets lots of comments from visitors to my office. I use a Razer Diamondback 3G mouse with it and have excellent tracking, and can move the mouse extremely fast without any mouse confusion.
