If you are new to steelhead fishng, this is a GREAT video to start with, the guy knows his stuff and covers everything although some of the information is a bit dated. What do you expect, it's an older guy who is a great fisherman and has been using some of the same equipment for many years and it works. Even if you are more experienced it offers a rock solid base of information from equipment to rigging, actual fishing, filleting techniques, curing baits and more and will make a great reference for your video library.

I recently had the opportunity to see much of this DVD playing at a local fishing store. From what I saw it had quite a few good techniques and some I'd never seen before. Marc obviously knows what he's doing and what to do to be a more productive steelhead angler. So, I ordered the book here on Amazon and will post a review once I'm done. But, from what I saw on the DVD you can't go wrong with this even if you don't care to read. Just pop it in the DVD player.Steelhead Fishing Essentials (Book & DVD)
