Once again, John Shewey, Master Spey & Dee Fly tyer, has published an instant Classic.The techniques, instructions, photography, How-to's, etc. are just unbelievable!! No one knows more about the subject than John. If you can't learn how to tie these beautiful works of art from this book, then you will never learn. John's instructions are right on for winging, hackling, tailing, and body work. He is the only person i know of, who gives you several different methods for accomplishing the same thing.
I keep this book handy when I tie as a reference, since at my age I tend to forget things. John's book is my handy little reminder!!! Joel Stansbury
