This is a VERY basic book for the novice only. The author does not cover fly fishing for steelhead and I wish that I had not bought this book.

This book is an excellent book for the experienced fisherman OR for someone who doesn't know the first thing about fishing for steelhead. It is obvious that the author loves to fish and share all he knows about it with the reader. The pictures were an added attraction as well as the author's subtle sense of humor. It's a must on my list.
