These bowls are attractive and well made but entirely too small to be practical for anyone in my family other than the toddlers. I would not consider this a serving bowl but rather a condiment bowl. They would be very nice for that. Or dessert. So you don't eat much. I'd recommend taking 10 ounces of water and pouring it into one of your regular serving bowls to judge if the size is good for you.
